Oct. 17

Susan Margret Souza, 47, of Fall River, Mass., was stopped at 12:58 a.m. on Route 24 North at Cedar Island. She was charged with Driving under the influence, first offense; and Refusal to submit to a chemical test, second offense.

Oct. 18

Robert T. Coia, 68, of Portsmouth, was stopped at 7:39 p.m. on East Main Road at Patriot Petroleum. He was charged with Domestic Simple Assault or Battery.
