'Running Wild' at Polo Fields, Weather-Permitting

Here's 5 things you need to know for Thursday. 

1. The newportFILM outdoors will present the film "Running Wild" this Thursday at the Portsmouth polo fields. The film will start at 8 p.m. with the grounds opening at 6:30 p.m. This is a 375th Portsmouth anniversary event. 
2. In the event of rain, the film "Running Wild" will be shown instead at the Casino Theater, 9 Freebody St., Newport. Check here for rain updates. 
3. Grab your umbrella before you leave the house! There's a 50 percent chance of heavy rain, as well as a chance of thunderstorms today. 
4. The Portsmouth Little League 9 to 10-year-old All Star team will play Maine tonight in the regional playoffs. The game starts at 7:30 p.m.
   
5. The 375th Steering Committee will meet at the library this Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
