Serious Accident In Portsmouth: Friday Night
Portsmouth police on Saturday afternoon have confirmed two local people died.
PORTSMOUTH, RI— Two people were killed and two are in the hospital after an accident Friday night near Raytheon. Multiple news sources were reporting a serious crash with entrapment in Portsmouth.
On Saturday morning, detectives said the accident reconstruction team was still on scene working on the investigation. Police now say a Little Compton woman, 90, and a Portsmouth man, 59, both passengers in the same car, died of their injuries. The two drivers survived.
