A rain/snow mix slowed some morning commutes through Portsmouth today.
Although areas throughout Rhode Island saw more snow, Portsmouth's slushy roads resulted in the sound of plows this morning.
At least one crash is believed to have occurred during this morning's storm.

A telephone pole was reportedly struck on West Main Road near Cory's Lane. Further details about the crash are unknown at this time.

The slush and snow mixtured did not cause any delays. Portsmouth Public Schools started on time this morning.
