SOUND OFF: What Safety Steps Should Portsmouth Schools Take?
In the wake of the Newtown school shooting, what safety plans should Portsmouth schools put in place? Should they increase security? Tell us in the comment section.

School administrators in Portsmouth met Monday to review all existing safety procedures and practices in place "as a way of being responsive and sensitive to the incident that occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary School," according to Superintendent Lynn Krizic.Â
The Newport School District is also reviewing its safety plans after what is being considered one of the worst school shootings in recent U.S. history.Â
