Stabbing: Portsmouth Police Arrest 24-Year Old Man
Scott Edward Bruneau, of Portsmouth, was arrested Friday shortly before 1 a.m. and charged with felony assault, police said.
PORTSMOUTH, RI—Police were called to 32 Blue Bill Way on Friday, Nov. 10 at about 12:40 a.m. for a stabbing. The victim, a 22-year-old male, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said.
The investigation showed the victim had been quarrelling with Scott Edward Bruneau, 24, of Portsmouth. The argument turned physical, and Bruneau stabbed him twice, police allege. He was arrested at the scene and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon or substance, police said.
