🌱 Amazon 4-Star​ Coming To Providence Place + RIDOH Test Delays

Here are the top stories today in Providence:

1. Amazon will be opening a brick-and-mortar store at Providence Place mall. The new store, called “Amazon 4-Star” will carry items with four-star or higher customer reviews. Retail positions are available with a starting pay of $16.50 an hour, but there’s no word yet when the store will open its doors. (WPRI.com)
2. On Monday, The Rhode Island Department of Health announced they are continuing to experience delays in processing PCR tests from State-run sites. The independent laboratory, Dominion Diagnostics, has reported equipment issues associated with heavy-holiday related testing. This delay has not affected testing results from other testing sites such as retail pharmacies. (WLNE-TV (ABC6))
3. U.S. Olympic figure-skating medalist Nancy Kerrigan will headline an all-star ice-skating show at BankNewport City Center during the annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec. 3. (Press Release Desk)
