Armed Providence Man Eludes Law But Later Located And Caught: Cops
The police had attempted to pull the Providence man over.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man eluded the law but was later located and arrested, police said.
Jose Vinas, 18, was arrested shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday and charged with reckless driving — eluding law enforcement, reckless driving and other offenses against public, obstructing an officer in the execution of duty and weapons other than firearms prohibited, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Police attempted without success to pull Vinas over on Broad Street but later located him on Washington Avenue, the release said.

Vinas was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released with a Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.
