Police on Saturday afternoon sent dive teams to recover a body.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Providence police on Saturday afternoon sent dive teams to recover a body in the Providence River. According to police, the deceased is an adult man.
Police are investigating the death of an adult male whose body was retrieved from the Providence river behind 200 Dyer St. Providence Fire recovered the body and the ME's office took possession of it. Detectives are investigating. Follow us for updates. TAV
