- Are you looking for a new job or a change in your career? There are several new job listings in and around Providence. (Providence Patch)
- State leaders celebrated the groundbreaking of new affordable housing units at the former Barbara Jordan II development that has been vacant since 2015. Work is already underway to build 79 new family homes there. Ranging in size from one to four-bedroom units, the new affordable housing rentals will make up the Joseph Caffey Apartments and Townhomes. Construction is slated to be completed in the next 18 to 24 months.(Turn to 10)
- Well-known public relations professional, Alisha Pina, has left her job as the spokesperson for Nirva LaFortune’s Providence mayoral campaign. However, she reportedly said in a statement; " I am #TeamNirva regardless of whether I am a member of the campaign staff or not.” (GoLocalProv)
- Providence school officials said the "normal" return from April break reflects a decrease in COVID-19 cases across the district, which is why there was no staggered return from the school break, like there has been in the past. All Providence students and staff returned to school Monday. (WPRI.com)
