  1. Rhode Island's, deaths attributable to the coronavirus per capita are more common than they are nationwide. Across the state, 3,402 people have died from COVID-19. Of all states — and Washington D.C. — Rhode Island has the 19th highest death rate per capita. (24/7 Wall St. - Providence)
