  1. A 66-year-old Providence priest has been arrested. Father James Jackson, now formerly of St. Mary’s Church, is facing several charges, including possession of child pornography, transfer of child pornography, and child erotica prohibited. Jackson was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and held on a $5,000 surety bail. (WPRI.com)
  2. A fire broke out inside the former Windmill Street School in Providence on Saturday. Crews arrived to find a few small fires in the building, which only caused minor damage and took about 20 minutes to put out. This is the second reported fire to break out inside the vacant building on Paul Street since Sept. (WJAR)
