Here are the top stories today in Providence:

1. The Rhode Island Pride parade, celebrating the state's LGBTQ community, will return to the streets of Providence the evening before Halloween. The event, billed as the Halloween Jubilee, is designed as a new celebration, not a replacement of the Illuminated Night Parade and PrideFest that normally coincide with Pride Month. The Oct. 30 celebration will include a community resource and vendor fair starting in late morning, followed by the Pride Halloween Jubilee Procession and closing ceremonies. (The Providence Journal)
2. Crews were called to a fire at a Providence restaurant early Wednesday morning. Firefighters responded to the I Love Mexico Bar and Grille on Smith St. at around 3:30 a.m. The cause of the fire remains under investigation and it's unclear if there was any injuries or damage. (WPRI.com)
3. Hocus Pocus 2 has begun filming in Providence this week, at both Moses Brown School and La Salle Academy. (GoLocalProv)
4. On Wednesday, The Providence Board of Licenses discussed the future of Revel Lounge following a triple shooting last Sunday morning. (WPRI.com)
5. About 30 restaurants have signed on to be part of PVD Vegan Restaurant Week, which will feature specials from Oct. 29-Nov. 7. (The Providence Journal)
