- Detectives are investigating a possible homicide in the Capital City. The body of a deceased woman was found in a home in the city on Tuesday. The female was found at 43 Parkis Street. According to police, they are waiting for details from the medical examiner's report. (GoLocalProv)
- Shankar K. Prasad, a Brown Ph.D. alumnus has been appointed dean of Brown's School of Professional Studies. Prasad has led strategic initiatives at the University in a variety of academic and administrative leadership roles for nearly seven years. (Brown University)
- The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM) is offering its popular energy-saving tree program for the 13th season. Registration for one of the 1,000 trees offered through the program can be reserved online starting Friday. (WPRI.com)
