  1. It's almost time for the first ever Rhode Island Craft Beer Week! Begining this weekend, March 5 to March 13 enjoy every thing "beer" Rhode Island has to offer. With some 60 events planned for breweries, bars and restaurants there will be something for everyone. (The Providence Journal)
  2. In a statement Tuesday, the U.S. attorney's office in Providence said four members of the violent Providence-based Chad Brown gang have each recently pleaded guilty to participating in the activities of a racketeer influenced corrupt organization. The gang members were arrested through the cooperation of federal, state and city law enforcement agencies.(Trumbull Times)
  3. Providence Public Schools will be launching an initiative called #HSVaxWeek. All district high schools will host COVID-19 vaccine clinics, from March 7 through 11. Wellness Company and Noire Health will provide free COVID-19 vaccines. Students younger than 16 years old will be required to have written consent from their parents or guardians to receive a vaccine. (WLNE-TV (ABC6))
  4. Your help is needed to identifying the person police believe caused thousands of dollars in damage to the ice rink at the BankNewport City Center in Providence. Approximately $7,000 worth of damage was done. (WPRI.com)
  5. Mutual-aid rescues in Providence increased by 33% between 2018 and 2021. This high demand for rescues in Providence is taking a toll on neighboring towns. (WPRI.com)
