Here are the top stories today in Providence:
- Two men are in critical condition after an overnight shooting on early Sunday morning in Providence. The two victims were sitting in a vehicle outside a home on Glasgow Street when an unknown suspect fired several shots, hitting both men. Both victims, identified only as a 22 and 29-year-old, were taken to Rhode Island Hospital and police are investigating the incident. (WPRI.com)
- A man was stabbed on Saturday morning in Providence and has been transported to Rhode Island Hospital. Police were called around 4:00 a.m. to the 400 block of Charles Street to find a male victim severely stabbed in the leg. The victim told police he was stabbed by a female in a dispute over money. - The Walk to End Alzheimer’s returned to Roger Williams Park in Providence on Sunday morning and raised more than $237,000. (WPRI.com)
