Town Of Richmond: Chariho Budget Referendum

The Chariho School Budget Referendum will take place on April 5, 2022.  Voting will take place in the Town Hall from 8am to 8pm.  Town administration and the Town Council do not set the school budget, so April 5th is your only opportunity to make your opinions known regarding the school district.  As the school budget makes up nearly 75% of your tax bill, it's important that you pay attention and weigh in for or against.  Whatever the outcome, Richmond's share will be set at that point and incorporated into the town budget which will be voted on at our Financial Town Meeting in June.
