Anytime Fitness, the 24-hour co-ed fitness club at 446 Putnam Pike, is organizing a 30 day Fitness Study at the Smithfield location.
The study will begin with an orientation on Aug. 1 at the club. Volunteers are required to attend three supervised workouts a week with the Fitness Director, Mike Denis. A $20 refundable fee is required for the security key that gives volunteers 24 hour access to the club for the 30 days. This study is geared towards non-gym users.
“Our goal is to collect data on the results of this routine, designed by Mike,” said Clara Brown, manager of the Anytime Fitness. “We want to educate the volunteers and follow them through their success.”

“I will be designing the workouts and prescribing our virtual classes specifically for this study,” said Mike Denis, Fitness Director of the Anytime Fitness. “By recording their starting vitals, we will be able to show progress and help motivate the volunteers to continue towards their individual goals.
To volunteer for the Fit Study, please email or call the club at 401-349-3550 with your name and contact information. Either Clara or Mike will contact volunteers to set up an orientation time.
