BankRI Promotes Amy O’Neill Branch Manager At Smithfield Office
Local branch promotes from within to find new leader.

After successfully serving as the Assistant Branch Manager for its Smithfield location, Bank Rhode Island (BankRI) today announced that Amy O’Neill has been promoted to serve as the office’s Branch Manager.
As Branch Manager, Amy’s responsible for managing the day to day operations and staff of the Smithfield office as well as expanding existing business and consumer relationships to meet the financial needs of the our customers. She will also be focused on developing new business relationships within Smithfield and surrounding communities.

Prior to joining BankRI over a year ago, O’Neill worked for Bank of America as an Assistant Manager.
“As the Assistant Manager of our Smithfield branch, Amy has been an asset to our customers, the community, and to the bank’s retail team,” said Steven Parente, Senior Vice President, Director of Retail Banking. “We’re pleased to fill this position by promoting from within and look forward to continuing to provide our Smithfield customers with unparalleled service and financial solutions.”

In addition to her work at BankRI, Amy is actively involved with the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce where she supports membership activities and assists with special events.
Amy holds a degree in Business Administration from The Katherine Gibbs School and studied Business Management at Rhode Island College. She and her husband, Jack, live in Rumford with their two children.
