Merry Christmas Five: Snow, Holiday Hours, Listings, Things

Merry Christmas - It's Christmas, and I would like to wish everyone in Smithfield a happy holiday. Here's hoping Christmas brings something special for you from someone with a kind heart.

Snow - There's a chance of snow today - perhaps just in time for a white Christmas. The weather geeks predict a 60 percent chance of the white stuff falling out of the sky this morning. There's less than an inch predicted, so if you're traveling, it shouldn't hamper your plans, but it might make the scenery a little more seasonal.

Holiday hours - Today Town Hall is closed, and there's no trash pickup, either. Normal scheduled pickups are one day later (For example, for a Monday holiday, Monday pickup is Tuesday, Tuesday pickup is Wednesday ..and Friday pickup is Saturday.) 

The Greenville Public Library is closed and so is the North Smithfield Public Library.
