MA Man, 20, Dies In Crash In Smithfield
Smithfield police say a 20-year-old man from North Attleboro, Massachusetts, died in the crash. The other driver and a child were injured.
SMITHFIELD, RI — A Massachusetts man died in a car crash in Smithfield on Monday evening, according to police.
Police said they were called Putnam Pike near the Waterman Reservoir around 5:30 p.m. for a report of a crash. One of the drivers, a 20-year-old man from North Attleboro, Massachusetts, was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
The other driver and a child passenger were taken to Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children's Hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known.
