Man Arrested In Smithfield After Shots Fired In West Greenwich
Stephan J. Valentino, 44, was arrested after Smithfield police found him inside his parked car on Tamarac Drive.
SMITHFIELD, RI — A man was arrested in Smithfield Friday after being accused in a shots fired incident in West Greenwich earlier in the morning, according to police.
The accused, identified as Stephan J. Valentino, 44, was arrested after Smithfield police found him inside his parked car on Tamarac Drive around 10:30 a.m., police said.
A loaded firearm was found in Valentino's car, according to police.

Valentino is facing the following charges:
- Carrying a pistol without a license
- Carrying a weapon while intoxicated
- Possession of firearms by a person convicted of a crime of violence
- Possession of large capacity feeding device
- Possession of marijuana over two ounces
He is set to be arraigned Friday afternoon in 3 District Court in Warwick.
