Millenium Allowed to Reopen; Health Dept. Will 'Chaperone' Pharmacy
Late Wednesday, the Rhode Island Department of Health issued a "Consent Order" allowing Millenium to continue operations.
One day after the Rhode Island Department of Health suspended the operating licenses of Millenium Pharmacy of Appian Way, officials from the state agency announced an agreement that lets the pharmacy reopen under strict monitoring.
The department's "Consent Order" outlines 26 steps that Millenium has agreed to take to correct the issues discovered by Health inspectors.
