Monday Five: Gingerbread, No Snow, Skate, Support, Blog

It's another Monday, but one less day till Christmas. Check out these things to know.

Gingerbread decorating signup - Sign up now for tomorrow's gingerbread house decorating party from 6:30-8 p.m at the East Smithfield Library, 50 Esmond St. All teens and young adults in grades 5 and up are invited to join their friends for a night out at the library. We will be decorating Gingerbread Houses with an assortment of sweets, such as gum drops, candy canes, and M&Ms. When you finish your house, you can sit back and view your work. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring in anything else you want to use. Space is limited, so sign up for this event as soon as possible in the Young Adult folder or give the library a call. Registration is required. Call (401) 231-5150.

Tut-tut - Will Christopher Robin grow up to be a weather guy? It's anybody's guess, but weather.com is predicting rain with a little more science under its belt — no offense to the denizens of the 100-acre Wood. Not looking good for those hoping for snow. There'll be more rain tomorrow, too.
