North Smithfield Woman Charged With DUI With 2 Children In Car
Prosecutors say Samantha Brown, 30, was caught driving impaired with two children in the car while possessing cocaine.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A North Smithfield woman is facing DUI and child endangerment charges after she was caught driving impaired with two children in the car while possessing cocaine, Attorney General Peter Neronha said Wednesday.
Prosecutors said the charges against Samantha Brown, 30, stem from a traffic stop in Smithfield on Sept. 6, 2023. On Nov. 17, 2023, Brown was charged by way of criminal information with two counts of child endangerment, one count of driving under the influence with a child under the age of 13 as a passenger and one count of possession of 10 grams or fewer of cocaine.
Brown is scheduled for a pre-arraignment conference on Jan. 24, in Providence County Superior Court.
