Troopers arrest Smithfield woman on heroin charge
On Saturday May 4, 2013 At 3:42 p.m., troopers arrested Jennifer Bonsante, age 33, of 954 Greenville Avenue, Smithfield, RI on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant from the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks for Possession of Schedule I Substance- Heroin.

This arrest was the result of an investigation conducted at the Lincoln barracks and Troopers responding to Bonsante's residence.

Troopers arrest man for failing to appear on shoplifting charge
On Thursday May 2, 2013, At 10:36 a.m., Troopers arrested Adam J. Ger, age 37, of 567 Smithfield Road, Apt. 43, North Providence, RI on a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Shoplifting out of the Providence Police Department.
Ger was processed at the Wickford Barracks and later turned over to Sixth Division District Court.
