State Trooper Log: Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest for Failing to Appear

At 9:32 a.m. July 14, Troopers arrested Robert Forrest, age 21, of 103 Harris Ave., Johnston, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Smithfield Police Department. 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 in the Town of Johnston. Forrest was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center.
