The OMA requires “unofficial minutes shall be available, to the public at the office of the public body, within thirty-five (35) days of the meeting or at the next regularly scheduled meeting, whichever is earlier.”
Accordingly, the Budget Committee did not violate the OMA or the APRA by failing to provide the requested minutes at the time the request was made, according to the Attorney General's Office.
