Health Inspections: Asian Gourmet, Famous Pizza of Tiverton
The Health Department performed inspections at Tiverton-Little Compton businesses in May.

Asian Gourmet, 1715 Stafford Road — The Health Department noted 3 violations during an inspection May 9.
- Observed raw meats and raw shell eggs being stored directly over vegetables in walk in cooler.
- Observed beef being thawed at room temperature.
- Single service cups are being used as scoops in containers of sugar, flour, and rice. Utensils used to dispense non-potentially hazardous foods such as sugar and flour must be stored in the food item with their handles above the top of the food within the container.

- Observed raw shell eggs over pasta. Observed container of lemons stored in the same container as raw beef.
- Observed dried debris on slicer and can opener blade.
- Observed plastic knives stored with the utensil end pointing out of the storage container.
- The nonfood-contact surfaces of the shelves in the walk in cooler have an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue and other debris.
