MA Man Accused Of Vandalizing Pumps At Tiverton Gas Station
Tiverton police say digital screens for several fuel pumps were vandalized at American Dream Gas at 400 Main Road.

TIVERTON, RI — A Massachusetts man was arrested Wednesday after Tiverton police said he damaged several pumps at a local gas station.
Around 2 a.m., police were called to American Dream Gas at 400 Main Road for a report of debris in the street. When officers arrived, they found a trash bin knocked over and trash and debris strewn throughout the area. Police said officers also noticed that the digital screens for several fuel pumps were vandalized.
Officers reviewed security footage and identified a possible suspect. Police said, at the intersection of Main Road and State Avenue, they found a man matching the suspect's description sleeping on a bench.

Police said they later identified the man as Jadon West, 19, of Fall River, Massachusetts. During questioning, West admitted to causing the damage at American Dream Gas, according to police.
West was taken into custody and charged with three counts of vandalism and one count of disorderly conduct.

West was transported to Second Division Court in Newport for arraignment, where his bail was set at $1,000 surety. He is scheduled to return to court on Thursday.
