Missing Teen Girl Found Safe: Tiverton Police

TIVERTON, RI — A teen girl who went missing more than a week ago has been found safe, Tiverton police said.

Police on Friday said they found Avah Victoria Flowers, 16, who had not been seen since March 31, and police believed was in danger.

"We will have more information in the future but ask you respect the family’s privacy given their extreme fear and emotions over the past week," Tiverton police said in a statement. "We are all truly thankful to you, our followers, citizens, local businesses, and our law enforcement partners who assisted in the search to locate Avah."
