Sakonnet Channel Closings Postponed: RIDOT

TIVERTON, RI— The state Department of Transportation has postponed the Sakonnet River channel closings. The closings are required, due to the demolition of the Old Sakonnet Bridge. They will now start on Nov. 13, the state said.
