Tiverton Farmers Market Moves To Middle School Gym
Celebrate Easter a week early at the Spring pop-up event on April 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
TIVERTON, RI — Tiverton's farmer's market has a new home. The weekly event will now be held in the middle school gym.
Tiverton Middle School is located at 10 Quintal Drive. Market goers can enter through the gymnasium's Door 2. Starting in June, the Sunday market will move outdoors.
The market is approaching its second anniversary, launched in June 2020. Since then, there have been 100 weekly markets and 10 holiday pop-ups. The organizers received nonprofit status last year and are hoping to achieve 501(c)3 status this year.

The market will celebrate Easter a week early on April 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. More than 50 vendors will be on hand. The market will not be held the following week due to the holiday. Kids can gather lettered Easter eggs from vendors around the market to spell out "Tiverton Farm" and receive a special prize, courtesy of Discover Newport.
As always, the market is free and open to the public, with ample parking.
