Tiverton Man Faces Felony Assault Charges

A 30-year-old Tiverton man is charged with felony domestic assault after allegedly choking his wife.


A Doris Avenue Man faces felony domestic assault charges following a June 23 argument with his wife.

Christopher J. Ball, 30, of 18 Doris Ave., Tiverton, was charged with felony domestic assault on Sunday, June 23 at 3 a.m. Tiverton Police responded to Ball's Doris Avenue home after his wife reported called the police following an argument. The vic alleged that the pair were drinking and when an argument erupted, it quickly escalated. Ball allegedly struck the woman and choked her around her neck., prompting police to charge him with felony assault.

Ball was arraigned in Second Division District Court and later released on surety bail.
