Tiverton Schools Giving Students Free COVID-19 Test Kits Before February Vacation
Tiverton school Superintendent Peter Sanchioni says the district is distributing the testing kits because of a recent uptick in COVID cases.

TIVERTON, RI — With COVID-19 cases increasing in the Tiverton School District, students will receive a free COVID-19 test kit, Superintendent Peter Sanchioni said Monday.
The free test kits will be distributed Friday. If, for any reason, parents do not want their child to receive a test kit, Sanchioni said parents/guardians should contact their child's school.
"We strongly recommend using the test kit over the weekend of February 23 to 25, especially if your child exhibits any symptoms," Sanchioni said. "This timing allows for proactive testing before the students return to school from the winter break."
