Furry Fellas Dog Walking & Pet Sitting Service is hosting a Howl-o-ween Hike N Treat event to benefit the Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter on Sunday, October 26th starting at 2:30pm. Postponed from October 4th.
This is an event for dogs & their humans. NOTE: Dogs not required to attend if you have a pup who isn’t sociable but still want to join in. Costumes are encouraged for both, but certainly not required.
There will be games, dog treats, human treats, a raffle, a group walk for the dogs & their humans and a pet costume contest with 3 chances to win! Friends of Warwick Animal Shelter will be present! There will be plant-based food/snack samples available at the ANVV (vegan group table). VEG ER for Pets will also have team members present to answer questions and share information about their pet emergency room.
This event is free to attend. Registration required in advance to participate in the walk with a $15 donation requested. Costume contest registration required in advance with a $15 donation requested. Proceeds will be donated to help the homeless animals at the Warwick Animal Shelter.
We will be setting up at the beach. The hike will start promptly at 3pm. Check in starts at 2:30pm and will take place at the Furry Fellas booth.

The costume contest will take place once everyone returns from the walk around 4:45pm/5pm. Costume contest check-in will be available at 4:30pm for those who aren’t participating in the walk and will be arriving later. Check-in will be at the Furry Fellas booth. All well behaved / friendly vaccinated dogs are welcome. By participating in any aspect of this event you agree to take full responsibility and liability for any and all actions of your pup(s).
Required dog vaccine: Rabies or exemption letter from vet. Bordetella and Distemper combo vaccines are also recommended for dogs coming into contact with other dogs.
Hurry! Limited spots available! Please bring water for you and your pup and poop bags. We will have some extra on hand just in case.
