Warwick Embezzler Also Charged With Computer Crimes: Cops
The Warwick woman was arrested by the Rhode Island State Police Financial Crimes Unit, police said.
WARWICK, RI — A Warwick woman was arrested by the Rhode Island State Police Financial Crimes Unit, police said.
Theresa Perry, 56, was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with embezzlement and fraudulent conversion, and gaining access to a computer for fraudulent purposes, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
"Ms. Perry was transported to Rhode Island State Police Headquarters where she was processed and to Third Division District Court, where she was arraigned, issued $3,000 surety bail and held as a Superior Court Bail Violator," the release said.
