Woman Dies After Overdosing On Fentanyl-Laced Marijuana
Warwick police say they are investigating the source of the fentanyl-laced marijuana.
WARWICK, RI — A 27-year-old woman died Thursday morning after she consumed marijuana laced with fentanyl, Warwick police said.
Police said the woman was found unresponsive and overdosing at a Warwick hotel around 2:34 a.m. The marijuana was not purchased at a licensed dispensary, police said.
Emergency responders tried to save her life, but the woman succumbed to the overdoes. Police did not identify the woman.
