Woonsocket Firefighter Sean Newton, 23, is listed in critical condition with head injuries after a fall from a two-foot wall outside a Charlestown bar Sunday.
Turnto10.com reports surveillance camera footage shows Newton falling from the wall outside Rathskeller Tavern early that morning, with no apparent foul play involved.
Newton was most recently in the news in May 2013 when he was arrested in South Kingstown and charged with DUI, telling officers he was texting a fellow firefighter about a hazmat call in Woonsocket he was called to when he hit a sign on Route 1. According to the report, Newton had been wearing a WFD uniform at the time of his arrest.
