Where Do I Find the Woonsocket School Calendar?
It's not too early to start planning for the school year — here's where to find the calendar for the Woonsocket School District.
Now that August has begun, it's time to really start thinking about the start of the school year in Woonsocket — this year, it's scheduled for Aug. 28.
The Woonsocket Harris Public Library has posted this year's school-suggested summer reading lists:
If your student is new to the local district, the school department has posted its registration requirements online.
It's also time to look ahead and start planning for holidays, winter break, and spring vacations — but you can't do that without the school calendar, right?

Following the first three days of classes, Labor Day falls on Monday, Sept. 2. Then, there are no holidays until Columbus Day, Oct. 14.
After Veteran's Day on Nov. 11, Thanksgiving break is Nov. 28 and 29.
It's another short holiday break this year, with Dec. 23 to Jan. 1, 2014 the scheduled vacation week.
This year's winter recess is Feb. 17 to 21, with spring recess scheduled for Apr. 21-25. [Good Friday falls on Apr. 18.]
Then, finally, the school year ends on or about June 13, depending on snow days.
If you've got a senior at Woonsocket High School this year, their graduation is scheduled for June 6.
