Woonsocket Drug Dealer Busted after Mowry Street Raid

WOOONSOCKET, RI—A month-long investigation focused on a Woonsocket drug dealer has resulted in an arrest and the seizure of heroin, cocaine, cash and guns.

Luis Roman Morales, 24, has been welcoming drug buyers to his 292 Mowry Street apartment and on Friday, he found himself hosting members of the Woonsocket Police Department who came with a search warrant.

Police ended up finding 28 bags of heroin, 12 bags of cocaine, a 12-gauge shotgun and a pistol.

Morales finds himself facing charges of possession of heroin with intent to deliver, possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, maintaining a narcotic's nuisance and distributing near a school zone.
