Deputies are still trying to identify the man who brought it in and believe it may have been tied to a shoplifting attempt.

- As of December 23, 2025, a portion of Simpson Road is closed due to a large hole that developed near a bridge.
Closure Details Location: The road is closed between Old Williamston Road and Midway Road. Reason: Anderson County Public Works is conducting… (Nextdoor Rivendell) - Maybe I'm in my Pollyanna Era but for those still looking for inexpensive gifts for the kids, you can't beat a deck of cards and your time.
