General contractor and home builder Center Park Group announces groundbreaking of Wellstead at Strawberry, an 84-unit build-to-rent (BTR) community in Moncks Corner, S.C., located near the intersection of SC-52 and Old SC-52. This community will offer residents convenient living near Hwy 52 and major employers in Moncks Corner, Summerville, Goose Creek, and Charleston.

“Canvas Residential Partners is excited to enter the Charleston MSA BTR market with a proven and trusted partner in Center Park Group,” states Creighton Call, managing partner with Canvas Residential Partners.

Land development activity began in April 2025, and Center Park Group plans to commence with vertical construction in January 2026.

Center Park Group is excited to kick off another development with Canvas Residential Partners. This project will feature 84 three- and four-bedroom townhomes with attached one- and two-car garages. The three-bedroom plan is spacious, featuring 1,451 square feet and two-and-a-half bathrooms, while the four-bedroom plan boasts 1,737 square feet of living space and two-and-a-half bathrooms. Both plans feature modern design elements, including stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, luxury vinyl plank flooring, and designer cabinetry. Within the community, residents will enjoy a dog park and a grilling station, perfect for connecting with neighbors.

“Our partnership with Canvas Residential reflects the type of collaboration that really drives success in the build-to-rent sector,” said Jason Esposito, president of Center Park Group. “As we move toward vertical construction in early 2026, we’re excited to see our shared vision for this community take shape in Moncks Corner.”

Townes at Strawberry will connect residents to the serene backdrop of Moncks Corner, offering easy access to the area’s most beloved outdoor destinations. From refreshing weekends spent on Lake Moultrie or along the Cooper River to exploring the natural beauty of Cypress Gardens, which was featured in films such as “The Notebook” and “The Patriot,” residents will enjoy a lifestyle surrounded by scenic charm and low-country tranquility. Wellstead at Strawberry is conveniently located adjacent to Hwy 52 and 9 miles from I-26. Lowes and Walmart are 3.5 miles away, and golf enthusiasts can practice their swings at Crowfield Golf Course and Berkeley Country Club, just minutes away.

As a leader in BTR construction across the Southeast, Center Park Group is making a strong impact through strategic partnerships with institutional investors, REITs and regional developers. The company’s expanding footprint includes 30 active communities representing over 3000 homes in various stages of construction and development, demonstrating the scale, speed, and reliability of its regional construction platform.
