Here are the top three stories in Charleston today:

1. Seasonal fun is a great way to get the whole family together and create some special memories. Charleston has tons of great family-friendly holiday fun planned out. 2. Charleston Police are investigating a crash that occurred downtown on Wednesday night involving a pedestrian. Officers arrived on the scene and immediately shut down Meeting Street at Market Street. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with injuries, but no additional information has been provided as to their identity or current condition as of Thursday evening. The investigation is ongoing. 3. The Light the World Giving Machine is coming to downtown Charleston this holiday season from Monday, Dec. 19 through Friday, Dec. 23. The vending machine lets participants buy items for people in need across Charleston or around the world. You can buy a seven-day bus pass for a local, a goat for a family in Africa, an acre of sweet potatoes for a community in Asia, and much more. (ABC NEWS 4)
