- Seasonal fun is a great way to get the whole family together and create some special memories. Charleston has tons of great family-friendly holiday fun planned out. The list at the link will provide ideas for fun for the family like the Holiday Festival of Lights, Aquarium Aglow, Let It Snow at The Charleston Place, and more. - Charleston Police are investigating a crash that occurred downtown on Wednesday night involving a pedestrian. Officers arrived on the scene and immediately shut down Meeting Street at Market Street. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with injuries, but no additional information has been provided as to their identity or current condition as of Thursday evening. The investigation is ongoing. - The Light the World Giving Machine is coming to downtown Charleston this holiday season from Monday, Dec. 19 through Friday, Dec. 23. The vending machine lets participants buy items for people in need across Charleston or around the world. You can buy a seven-day bus pass for a local, a goat for a family in Africa, an acre of sweet potatoes for a community in Asia, and much more. (ABC NEWS 4)
