  1. Yesterday (Dec. 1) marked the start of "Goodnight Lights," an annual tradition in which Charleston first responders spread holiday cheer to pediatric hospital patients. Members of the city's police and fire department gathered around MUSC's Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital to "say goodnight" by flashing their vehicle lights in unison. 2. On Nov. 30, a structure fire was reported at Twelve Oaks At Fenwick Plantation off Maybank Highway. The investigation team — including investigators from the Charleston Fire Marshal's Office, the Charleston Police Department, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) — concluded the blaze was intentionally set. Stono Oaks Apartments LLC, the property owner, is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for any information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible. (Charleston Fire Department via Facebook)
