  1. A new cold storage warehousing and logistics company will be setting up shop near the port of Charleston. FlexCold will be launching its new facility on Patriot Boulevard. This will be the company's first location in South Carolina, as well as its second facility in America. The company is expected to create 59 new jobs in Charleston. (Charleston Regional Business)
  2. A new chicken tenders restaurant is setting up shop in North Charleston. Huey Magoo’s launched its latest franchise store on Tuesday near the Tanger Outlets. The chicken tenders restaurant has an outdoor patio and a drive-through. The menu includes premium chicken tenders that can be grilled, hand-breaded, or 'sauced.' (WCBD News 2)
  3. A South Carolina priest has been charged with federal sex crimes after allegations that he abused an 11-year-old child. Jaime Gonzalez-Farias, 68, formerly served in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charleston. He stands accused of taking an 11-year-old child to Florida between Nov. 8 and Nov. 12 of 2020, during which time he allegedly engaged in sexual abuse. He was arrested by the Marshals Service in Miami on Nov. 29. (The Sumter Item)
