- A local restaurant is helping make sure no one goes hungry this holiday season. Hyman's Seafood, the longtime local favorite, is offering homeless people across the peninsula a free hot meal. They've been assembling hot meals and giving them out during lunchtime to help feed locals during the holidays. Hyman's Seafood has been distributing meals outside their restaurant in Marion Square, as well as other locations around the Charleston area. (WCBD News 2)
- Since Thursday, flights have been canceled en masse at the Charleston International Airport. Over 16 flights have already been canceled, and officials are expecting even more. The delays are due in large part to the winter storms across the country. People can expect massive delays for most locations. (Live 5 News WCSC)
- The Holiday Festival has been a Charleston staple for over 20 years, and this year looks to be better than ever! The stunning holiday displays feature roughly two million bulbs. The attraction is a drive-thru and runs every night from 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. You can see this famous sight until Dec. 31. (Charleston Post Courier)
