  1. Long Creek Bridge in Charleston is being replaced and will cause closures this month. West Ashley Greenway trail will be closed this month as the current wooden bridge is replaced with a $400,000 eight-food-wide aluminum structure. The project is expected to be completed by the end of February or early March. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  2. Aventon Bees Ferry, a luxury apartment complex at the intersection of Savannah Highway and Bees Ferry Road, broke ground on Wednesday. The apartment complex will span 30 acres and will contain 394 apartments ranging in one, two, or three bedrooms. The complex will offer residents a inspired pool, gaming lawn, fitness room, and more.   3. Santana Shakel Martin Taylor, 28, refused to leave a Charleston home at the Archdale Forest Apartments on Tuesday after Dorchester County deputies responded for a domestic disturbance call. Taylor agreed to exit the home as SWAT team members were about to enter and was arrested on an existing bench warrant. The incident was resolved peacefully. (ABC 4 News)
