Here are the top three stories in Charleston today:

  1. 18-year-old Micah O'Leary Clinton is facing charges in connection to a gun that was found outside of a Charleston County elementary school. The charges include unlawful carry of a pistol and carrying a weapon on school grounds. Police Spokesman Harve Jacobs said Clinton was arrested on Sunday after being uncooperative and resisting an officer. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  2. The Charleston Co. Juvenile Detention Center's new library's opening has been delayed until Wednesday. The delay is due to a gas leak near the facility. With the opening, 400 new books will be available for the young residents of the facility. (ABC NEWS 4)
  3. A legally blind man who had been reported missing on Monday has since been located safely. Leroy Parnell, 67, was seen leaving a home on Midview Drive and then was spotted at a Kwik Mart on Highway 78. Reports say Parnell was asking for a taxi to take him to the hospital. (ABC NEWS 4)
