Deputies Seek Suspects in Nightclub Shooting

The Richland County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting at a nightclub near Garners Ferry Road Sunday.

Deputies responded to an aggravated assault call just after 2 a.m. at Side Pockets at 720 Hazelwood Drive.

Richland County Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Curtis Wilson said multiple people were escorted out of the club by security guards.

Once outside, the individuals fired their weapons at the club and patrons, Wilson said. 

Three people were shot during the incident. All three were transported to Palmetto Richland for treatment for their non-life threatening injuries.
